Registration and log in ArMed electronic healthcare system


Patients and users of the system can access ArMed electronic healthcare system on domain armed.am, via internet browser.
Due to cybersecurity issues registration in ArMed system is possible only by national ID card. After completing the registration user can enter to the system using created login name and password or ID card.

In case Mozilla Firefox browser is used there would be need for additional set up to enable usage of ID card. Usage of other browsers does not require any additional action.

Settings for Mozilla Firefox:

Go to Options window, select "Advanced" > "Certificates" > "Security Devices" to open "Device Manager" window:

Select "Load":

In the new window select module for instance: «My PKCS#11 Module»: Click "Browse..." and select desired file in card reader software interface. Example. for "CryptoCard" software  «CCPkiP11.dll» file should be selected in PKCS11 module.  If there is a 64 bit processor on used computer search «CryptoCard» software in ProgramFilesX86 folder, if processor capacity is less search in  «Program Files» folder.  Select "CCPkiP11.dll" file and click "OK".








Log in to ArMed system



To access ArMed system please go to armed.am button is intended for interface language change.

ID-card is mandatory for registration in the system. Place the card in card reader and click the card icon that would appear on screen.



In new window click “Personal Data of registering person” line and then click OK. Window for entering password from ID card would appear.




After entering ID card password following window would appear




In new window input e-mail and password with confirmation than mobile phone and click “Save”





Click “Confirm” for code field. After confirming click “Continue” to go to your personal cabinet on patient portal.





Personal data (name, family name and ID number) is automatically retrieved from state population register on this page. Only data that was entered by user can be modified, anything retrieved from state registry can be edited in the system.

In case user opted “Yes” for “Personally signed consent form” in settings of personal cabinet health history would be available only for registered doctors that have special consent signed by owner of the record․ If “No” is selected consent form can not be used as a mechanism to access health record.

If “Yes” is selected for “Emergency access” any registered medical professional is able to access electronic medical history in case of urgency, in selected option is “No” emergency access would be forbidden.

If there is a need for password recovery users needs to enter into the system using ID card then enter new password in “New password” field and confirm it. In case existing password should be changed it can be done after entering the system using username/password by filling in old and new passwords and confirming. Note that password should consist of six signs and include letters and numbers.
