On current stage of implementation following features are available to ArMed users:

Medical institutions:

  • Visit registration. Mandatory for BBP and social insurance packages and optional for out of pocket and voluntary insurance payed visits.

  • Business registries for sub-departments, human and material resources as well as standardized dictionary of medical specializations and schedule tables for employees.

  • Financial reporting for inputted visits according to provided services. Storage and management of pricelist for payed services.

  • Storage and management of data regarding diagnoses, medical actions and procedures, diagnostic tests, prescription and dispense of medication.

  • Effective communication mechanism with State Health Agency or Insurance company that includes sending of preauthorization request and getting real time approval.

Insurance companies

  • Denial and approval options for preliminary requests and insurance claims.

    Possibility to review and analyze of medical services provided for cases claimed by customers, after analysis employee insurance company can approve or deny preliminary request or insurance claim. In case of denial relevant explanation should be provided.
  • Flexible sorting and report exporting options for approved, automatically approved and denied claims.

For medical Institutions

  • Management system for human and material resources

    Resource management trough the system would allow better distribution of patient flows for available rooms, equipment and medical workers thus minimize waiting time, avoid queues and use existing resources effectively.
  • Electronic system for visit booking for patients

    Patients would be able to pre-book visits to admission department, pre-booked visits can be approved or moved to different time slot.
  • Implementation of unique electronic health record

    Implementation of unique electronic health record and input of clinical data would allow doctor to review, search and analyze patients’ health history (including diagnoses and medical procedures) avoiding time and data loss for retrieving and researching previous records. Better access to information supports better diagnostic and treatment decisions.
    Another advantage is built in diagnostic decision support system based on predictive models. It is intended to use data from electronic health record to evaluate potential risks and prevent possible complications.
  • E-prescription module

    Replacement of paper bases prescription system by paper less electronic one. This would allow better control on prescribed medications and therefor minimization of risks. Possibility of loosing prescription would be eliminated as well.
