Foreign citizens possessing a residence permit can register in Armed eHealth mobile application and receive a QR code like any citizen of the Republic of Armenia does.
Those foreign citizens who do not possess a residence permit cannot register in the Armed eHealth application since they do not have an identification number in the State Population Register. In this case, the medical institution where the vaccination procedure was performed need to be contacted to obtain a paper certificate containing a QR code.
Why is registration impossible for nonresidents?
When obtaining a residence permit, a person is also provided an identification number (social security number) in the State Population Register, used as an identifier by Armed eHealth mobile application.
Actions for foreign citizens?
We often receive letters from foreign citizens about inaccuracies during the data entry process.
To avoid such problems, foreign citizens are advised to:
- Present a residence permit (if available), in the medical institution when vaccination is performed, in case if there is no residence permit present a passport.
- Make sure that your personal information (name, surname etc.) is entered correctly.
-
When receiving the second shot of the vaccine, be sure to inform the medical institution that the first one is already received and provide a residence permit (if available), or a passport to verify the data and identify with information that was entered into the system when receiving the first dose.
